Enthusiastic, High Energy Group Fitness Instructors WantedThe New Canaan YMCA is looking for part-time certified instructors in Group Power, Blast/Cardio Step, Centergy, Boot Camp and more.If you have 2 hours (or more!) a week to commit to the Y's mission of Healthy Living, we encourage you to apply!Successful candidates will possess:Strong leadership skills and ability to facilitate positive relationships with studentsProfessional attitude and positive representative of the New Canaan YMCACurrent certification such as ACE, AFAA, ACSM, AEA or equivalent certification (determined by Director depending on which class being offered)C.P.R. and Standard First Aid certificationGood time management skills (arrive early for class, begin and end class on time)A "safety first" mindset and ability to customize exercises to meet student's needsWhy the Y?
