Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

Our client, an A-rated Insurance Carrier, is seeking to add an experienced Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner to their growing team. This is a fully remote opportunity responsible for handling moderate to complex Iowa Workers' Compensation Lost Time claims from inception through resolution. Qualified candidates must possess strong knowledge of Iowa Workers' Compensation laws, with experience handling claims in other Midwestern jurisdictions considered a plus. Responsibilitie Manage moderate to complex Iowa Workers' Compensation Lost Time claims from inception through closure Evaluate coverage, investigate claims, and develop appropriate claim resolution strategies Negotiate settlements with injured workers, attorneys, and other involved parties Coordinate with defense counsel and outside experts while directing the litigation process on litigated files Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and other proceedings involving serious injury claims Requiremen 5–10+ years of Workers' Compensation claims handling experience Strong knowledge of Iowa Workers' Compensation laws and regulation Prior experience managing litigated Workers' Compensation claim Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skill High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferre Salary & Benef $85,000–$110,000 annual base salary, plus a 10% target bon Flexible schedule with a fully remote work environme Competitive Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance benefi #J-18808-Ljbffr
