We offer competitive compensation in addition to an attractive benefits package for qualified employees.Employee Type: Full Time, HourlyReports to: Processing ManagerJob Location: Wichita, KS, USAShifts Available:WEEKEND SHIFTS:Friday - Sunday 6:00am - 6:30pmFriday - Sunday 6:00pm - 6:30amMust be able to train on 1st or 2nd shift Monday to Friday before moving to Weekend Shift.Pay range: $21.00 - $25.00 plus shift differential; hourly rate dependent upon experience.SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL for Weekends $3.00 per hourExperience: 3+ years' experience with application of aerospace primer, fuel cell, and top coatJob DutiesShoot primers and top coats to Mil specs on multiple surface typesMix paints per manufacturers specsPreparation of parts prior to painting including masking, sanding, and cleaningComplete workflow documentation thoroughly and properly as requiredInspection: Knowledge of the expected response and appearance of the material being paintedClean and repair paint equipmentTouch-up parts as neededWear proper safety equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures at all timesKeep work area cleanRequirements3+ years' experience with application of aerospace primer, fuel cell, and top coatUnderstanding of aerospace Mil specs & ability to understand work order instructions/requirementsAbility to comprehend and implement written directions as necessaryDependable, team-oriented, and good communication skillsPrevious experience in aerospace painting environment requiredAbility to follow all safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE while performing job functionsMust be self-motivated and produce quality workExcellent attendance and positive attitude is requiredWillingness to learn and help in other areas if neededHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredMust be 18 years of ageWorking ConditionsSome overtime may be requiredAbility to regularly and frequently lift 50 poundsWill be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, moving, carrying light and heavy loads, and climbing stairs and ladders.
