What They Are Looking For
Master's degree in Speech Pathology Current State of Ohio Licensure Ability to work variable days and hours as needed Current CPR Certified
Hours And Compensation Potential
Positions are full time. One is for the Outpatient area and schedule is 8am-5:30pm. One position is for the Pediatrics area and schedule is 8am-6pm (most Peds therapists work 4-10 hrs days). Day off is Tues; Wed or Thurs. Range is between $36hr ($74880)-$42hr ($87360) depending on experience. Full benefit package included and a sign on bonus being offered.
What You Will Be Doing
Provide screening, evaluation, and therapeutic interventions to patients. Develop a treatment plan and implementation per doctor referral. Excellent internal personal skills with all ages and socio-economic status. Demonstrate critical thinking to provide safe, high-quality care. Maintain confidentiality of patient and departmental information. Evaluations are 1 hour: Adult: will see 8-9 patients (treatments can range from 30-45 mins). Peds: will see 8-10 patients daily and treatments can range from 30-45 mins; there is a lot of co-treatment with Occupational Therapy. Since we are small community hospital person will see just about any diagnosis.
