Shape the quality backbone of wastewater pumping solutions

Imagine starting your morning on the production floor, validating a new control plan with Operations, then transitioning to a supplier call to align on PPAP deliverables. By afternoon, you’re closing a CAPA using data-backed root cause analysis and preparing for an upcoming ISO audit. That’s a typical day as our Senior Quality Systems & Compliance Engineer—owning the Quality Management System and elevating product integrity across design, manufacturing, and the supply base.

Location : This role is 100% on-site at our corporate office in Piqua, OH.

How you'll contribute

• Build, maintain, and continuously enhance our QMS so it’s audit-ready and scalable.
• Own core quality tools: Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).
• Drive CAPA from containment through verification of effectiveness; ensure timely closures.
• Plan and support ISO certification efforts, internal/external audits, and compliance follow-up.
• Coordinate PPAP packages and First Article Inspections (FAI) in partnership with Engineering and the supply base.
• Define inspection strategies, test methods, and product quality standards.
• Lead structured root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Partner with suppliers to improve performance and establish robust incoming quality.
• Analyze quality KPIs to uncover trends and prioritize continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations to strengthen process capability and product conformance.
• Travel to customer and supplier sites as needed.
• Support broader continuous improvement initiatives and related responsibilities.

QualificationsRequired

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• 2–3+ years in manufacturing or a quality-focused role.
• Demonstrated expertise in root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications (including GD&T).
• Proven use of data/metrics to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred

• Background in machining, assembly, or industrial manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949.
• Hands-on experience with PPAP, FAI, CAPA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and MSA.
• Lean/Continuous Improvement experience.
• Supplier Quality experience.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Minitab, or similar analytics/reporting tools.
