Responsibilities As an PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT), GS-1152-9, you will: Monitors and updates real-time fleet health and status codes (FMC/PMC/NMC) using automated systems like IMDS or G081. Serves as the primary dispatch hub for the flightline, coordinating specialists, fuel, munitions, and support equipment. Executes emergency response protocols and checklists via the "Crash Phone" network for ground or inflight emergencies. Tracks and documents flying schedule deviations, logging exact reasons for air aborts, ground aborts, and late takeoffs. Deconflicts flightline resource constraints by coordinating directly with Production Superintendents and Expediters. Requirements Conditions of Employment Military Requirements Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard.
