- Certifications: ACLS, PALS
- Experience: 2 years recent hospitalist NP experience preferred; new grads considered based on site needs
- Other Qualifications: Case logs for past 2 years; Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME; current immunizations (MMR, Varicella, 2-step TB test) per facility requirements
- Perform comprehensive history and physical exams for admitted patients
- Manage daily inpatient care rounds and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies
- Prescribe medications and perform medication reconciliation
- Coordinate discharge planning and provide patient and family education
