Clients in our day programs have access to group activities, individual support, and mental health services. Clients in the supportive living program receive support in maintaining independent living and have access to the day program.What to expect.This is a direct care opportunity to provide support for mental health treatment. You will **provide a safe and therapeutic environment** that encourages the overall independence and wellbeing of your clients.Under general supervision, your responsibilities will include:* Acting as a residential counselor as you **work one-on-one with clients** to learn or regain skills for successful community and independent living and socialization.* Ensuring **medication compliance** which involves responsibility for safety, dosage, and cleanliness.* Working as a part of a **collaborative service team** to develop and implement individual service plans.* Providing transportation and attending clients’ medical appointments. You will provide **advocacy services** throughout the appointment and ensure that all follow-up instruction is documented and/or followed through on.* Ensure overall sanitation and Department of health regulations are met and exceeded. **Ensures all CACFP documentation is completed accurately and timely.*** Assist in the daily food operations and as-needed catering operations. Will help ensure that meals are attractive, nutritionally complete, appealing and delivered fresh and hot. Will coordinate the preparation and delivery of off-site meals.* Helps ensure that food service documentation and licensing is accurate, complete and current. Will also ensure compliance with all Department of Labor and State Laws, regulations, guidelines, and directives. Will participate in all required food service trainings.* Monitor accurate portion control and inventory control. Will negotiate food purchases and delivery, and assist in general inventory control for food services.* Ensure overall sanitation and Department of health regulations are met and exceeded. Ensures all CACFP documentation is completed accurately and timely.As you spend time with your clients, you will find yourself developing a rapport with your clients where **you become part of their trusted support system**.
