Reformer Coach — Founding Team

Come coach with us.

River is an independently owned reformer gym in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, with coached classes, private sessions, and Free Flow open gym. We're building our founding team.

THE ROLE

Lead River 50, our 50-minute signature class: full-body strength and control on an advanced mega reformer. Give clear cues, help members find their form, and offer modifications so everyone can get a challenging workout that works for them.

THE TRAINING

You don't need to arrive knowing our machine. Experience taking or teaching Pilates, reformer, or mega reformer classes is a plus.

Coachability matters: River provides training on the machine, at no cost to you, and training time is paid. First-time and experienced coaches are welcome. You'll complete River's training before leading classes.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• You can hold a room and make people feel welcome

• You take direction well and want to keep learning

• You're reliable with recurring weekly blocks and willing to sub when someone is out

• You like working with people and being part of a small business we're building together

PAY & SCHEDULE

*Opening next month — quick availability preferred.*

$50 per class base, plus $3 per person above five: $50–65 per class.

Part-time to start, around 4–9 classes per week, with morning, evening, and some weekend availability.

Privates available once you're on the floor; coaches can also pick up open gym shifts.
