Compensation Starting Wages at $17.25-$26.00 per hour Wage Calculation is based on experience, shift, $1.50/hr Attendance Bonus, and a $3/hr weekend warrior program. HSA and FSA options Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) under supervision provides basic nursing assistance and assists residents with daily living activities. Qualifications Education : High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Licenses/Certification : Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment. Experience : Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred. Job Functions Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs. Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care. Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding. Assist residents with range of motion exercises and movement to wheelchair or activity areas. Assist resident with turning and positioning in bed. Assist resident with ambulation for short distance in facility. Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed. Performs other tasks as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, their family members, and facility staff.
