At A Better Path, Inc., located in Ramseur, NC, we are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for the residents in our girls' facility. We are looking for compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Paraprofessional/Residential Counselors. As a Residential Counselor, you’ll play a key role in creating a nurturing and empowering environment for our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervision and Safety : Monitor residents’ daily activities, ensure adherence to facility rules, and maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
• Individual and Group Support : Facilitate skill-building activities, lead group sessions, and assist residents in developing coping strategies and life skills.
• Daily Living Assistance : Provide support with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration (if certified), and other daily living activities.
• Documentation and Reporting : Keep accurate records of resident progress, incidents, and care plans to ensure quality care.
• Activity Planning and Engagement : Organize recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities to promote social and emotional growth.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other staff, supervisors, and families to implement individualized care plans and provide consistent support.
