Variety & Independence on the Road: Handle a range of roll-off routes and job sites while operating well-maintained equipment, working independently, and playing an important role in keeping construction projects and local communities moving. Duties and Responsibilities: Operate roll-off trucks safely and efficiently on public roads, construction sites, and company property. Deliver, position, load, exchange, and remove roll-off containers. Inspect trucks, containers, hydraulic systems, tires, brakes, lights, and other equipment before and after each shift. Complete the required daily vehicle inspection reports and other DOT documentation. Secure loads and containers in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations. Transport construction debris, demolition materials, aggregate, and other approved materials to designated locations. Verify that loads are properly positioned and do not exceed legal weight limits. Safely maneuver trucks in confined areas, active construction zones, and around personnel and equipment. Communicate professionally with customers, job-site personnel, dispatchers, and supervisors. Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules. Report mechanical problems, accidents, damage, safety hazards, or other incidents immediately. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, disposal tickets, fuel, mileage, and hours worked. Keep the truck and equipment clean and in good operating condition. Perform basic preventative maintenance and report maintenance needs promptly. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Follow DOT, OSHA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
