Why Join Us Competitive pay: $35–$45/hr Flexible PRN scheduling Opportunities within our network of facilities Employee appreciation events throughout the year Supportive leadership and collaborative therapy team Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will provide therapeutic interventions that help residents improve function, independence, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist Follow physician orders and individualized treatment plans Document daily treatment notes, progress notes, and other required therapy records Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education Train restorative aides and collaborate with nursing staff as needed Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning Maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas Report equipment issues and safety concerns promptly Ensure compliance with state practice acts, facility policies, and regulatory requirements Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and team members Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current South Carolina COTA license in good standing Must maintain all required continuing education requirements Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills What Makes You a Great Fit Compassionate and resident-focused Strong clinical and interpersonal skills Dependable and flexible Team-oriented with a positive attitude Passionate about helping residents achieve their highest level of independence Apply today and join a therapy team that is dedicated to helping residents live more independently while working in a supportive and rewarding environment.
