Strength Operations Assistant

JOB SUMMARY: Clemson University is looking for a Strength Operations Assistant to fulfill the following duties:

- Performs routine administrative support or clerical duties.

JOB DUTIES: 25% Performance Training: Assists the director and assistant strength coaches with performance training workouts

25% Facility Operations: Assists to ensure facility is properly maintained and addresses maintenance issues that arise Assists with daily cleaning sanitizing and equipment placement

50% Strength Conditioning Assistance: Assists with the daily set up and break down of the needed equipment for strength and conditioning sessions Contributes to a positive environment conducive to learning and safety while advancing program goals eliminating risks and ensuring compliance with NCAA rules

EMPLOYEE TYPE: Temporary (TMP) Staff (Fixed Term) Performs Other Duties as Assigned RESPONSIBILITIES: JOB KNOWLEDGE Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Not responsible for supervising employees. BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION: Expected Salary Range Salary Commensurate with Experience - 0.00 Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines. ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL: Essential Support - In the event of an emergency closure or modified operations, this position is necessary to maintain/resume essential support functions, deliver direct care services, and/or provide recovery support before normal operations resume. Some positions in this category may be required to work remotely or be on-call.
