SCHOOL NURSE:
The Gilbert School in Winsted CT is looking to hire a School Nurse beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, who will be working closely and reporting to our School Nursing Supervisor for grades 7-12. Applicants must be a Registered Nurse, with preferably a Bachelor's degree, licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut. Experience in a school setting is not necessary. In addition to the nursing requirements for this position, the successful candidate should be able to handle a fast-paced office, multi-task with enthusiasm, deal with confidential issues, as well as be a compassionate individual who portrays strong interpersonal skills and enjoys working with teenagers. Work schedule follows school calendar. Interested parties should complete an online application found at at employment tab and submit letter of intent, resume, two letters of reference.
