Contract | Nights (4x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | 13 or 26 week contract options | 36 or 48 hour weekly options available | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed progressive surgical, oncology, palliative care, and progressive acute care unit serving adult patients receiving chemotherapy
• Administer and monitor IV drips as required across all floors
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including CNAs, care techs, transport team, and paramedics/swoop personnel
• Float within scope to meet facility staffing needs across various units and campuses as required
• Adhere to weekend and holiday scheduling requirements, including 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period and 2 out of 3 major holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nebraska license required; pending license accepted if not yet in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Ability and willingness to float frequently to various units to meet staffing needs
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
• Background in oncology, palliative care, or progressive acute care nursing
• Experience working in high-acuity, complex patient care environments
