Sentara Medical Group is hiring a Certified Athletic Trainer – Field in Elkton, VA! Position Highlights Onsite coverage at East Rockingham High School Full-time position with a 40-hour work week Work closely with coaches and athletic staff to coordinate schedules, events, and athlete care Must be able to work independently and autonomously while managing daily responsibilities and athletic coverage needs Must be flexible to accommodate evening and/or weekend athletic events as needed This is a great opportunity for a Certified Athletic Trainer who enjoys working in a team environment, building relationships with student-athletes and coaches, and making an impact in the community. Job Description As a Certified Athletic Trainer you will evaluate, advise, treat, and educate athletes who experience athletic related injuries or illnesses to maintain peak physical fitness. Travel with team and be available at sports events and during practices to offer prevention- maintenance and assistance. Education Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training (required) Certification/Licensure Board of Certification (BOC) certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) (required) Virginia Athletic Trainer License (required) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required) #J-18808-Ljbffr
