Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues. The ideal candidate should have industrial experience and a knack for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues efficiently.
• Utilize hand tools and schematic diagrams for effective maintenance.
• Conduct PLC troubleshooting and maintenance on heavy equipment.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience in an industrial environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Spanish speaking is a plus
• Experience in the food industry is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a small, family-run tortilla manufacturing business with locations in East LA and South Gate. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6:30 pm, with occasional overtime and holiday work as required by business needs. Enjoy a supportive and collaborative work environment where all necessary tools are provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
