Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (Respiratory Therapy - Pediatric) in Brick, New Jersey. This position involves providing all aspects of respiratory care therapy and supportive equipment under supervision, including ventilator management, airway management, and arterial blood gas analysis, specifically for pediatric patients. The role requires delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient education and collaboration with healthcare team members.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy; BLS - AHA, ACLS, PALS certifications; current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care license; current and valid NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification; 1 year of experience (preferred 3 years).
• Required Skills & Experience: Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, strong accountability for improving patient care, exceptional teamwork skills, and high-quality patient focus. Proficiency in mechanical ventilation management, airway management, and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Additional Information: The position involves performing intubation assistance, ventilator setup and management, patient evaluation, and education. It requires physical capability to lift and push minimum weights, with regular contact with medical personnel and visitors.
