Associate Medical Director, Nephrology - US Medical Affairs

Biogen seeks an Associate Medical Director for Nephrology in US Medical Affairs to develop and execute medical strategy for C3G and IC-MPGN therapies. The role involves leading cross-functional initiatives including KOL engagement, advisory boards, scientific communications, and evidence generation to support clinical practice and patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Drive execution of US medical strategy for pegcetacoplan in nephrology aligned with objectives
- Develop and implement insight gathering and scientific communication plans addressing evidence gaps
- Lead KOL engagement strategy and organize advisory boards with medical experts and institutions
- Collaborate on medical education and training programs with Field Medical and cross-functional teams
- Review and develop compliant medical content including presentations, briefs, and training materials
Requirements
- MD, PhD, PharmD, or comparable advanced degree
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in medical affairs
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence within matrixed organizations
- Subject matter expertise in transplant or glomerular nephrology preferred
- Experience with product launches and multiple lifecycle stages preferred
- Working knowledge of US Medical Affairs regulations
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Compensation: $183,000-$252,000 base
