Job Description Job Description Experienced Automotive Mechanic – Ready Motors Ready Motors is looking for an experienced and dependable Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Oklahoma City. We are seeking a qualified mechanic—not an entry-level helper—who can diagnose problems and complete repairs with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems. Perform engine, suspension, brake, and air-conditioning repairs. Complete timing belt and timing chain jobs. Repair cylinder heads and engine components. Perform engine and transmission replacements. Conduct inspections and test-drive vehicles. Clearly communicate required repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Complete repairs correctly and within a reasonable timeframe. Requirements: Proven professional automotive repair experience. Must have your own tools. Experience with engine timing and cylinder-head repairs. Knowledge of suspension, brakes, cooling systems, and automotive A/C. Ability to diagnose vehicles using scanners and other equipment. Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently. Valid driver’s license. Spanish is helpful but not required. Compensation: $800 to $1,400 per week. Pay depends on experience, knowledge, productivity, and ability to complete repairs independently.
