Electrical Quality Assurance Representative – Data Center Construction Turner & Townsend is seeking an Electrical Quality Assurance Representative to support large‑scale data center construction projects for a prominent technology client. The role serves as the owners’ representative, ensuring that electrical and mechanical systems are installed and tested in compliance with project drawings, specifications, and quality program requirements. Responsibilities This is a hybrid role; remote work is expected when not on site. Candidate must be willing to travel to project sites across the US. Anticipated travel frequency is 50–75% of the time. Ensure compliance with the client’s quality program and project‑specific drawings and specifications through routine inspections of electrical and mechanical components and systems. Use an electronic field device and associated software to communicate and track inspection results and note deficiencies throughout construction and early commissioning. Prepare daily and weekly reports summarizing inspections performed and their results. Track documented inspection issues and follow them through to resolution. Identify installation trends, conduct root‑cause analysis, and recommend process improvements. Attend weekly team calls and client meetings as needed. Support creation of checklists for tasks performed and additional project‑related documentation. Qualifications 5–7+ years of electrical, construction, or quality assurance experience, with 2+ years in complex, mission‑critical facilities (data center, hospital, or large‑scale construction). Requisite knowledge and application of electrical and building codes. Strong knowledge of electrical systems—means, methods, materials, and industry standards. Thorough understanding of electrical engineering concepts and ability to communicate ideas effectively. Field construction experience. Collaboration in cross‑functional, high‑tech environments. Experience in data center construction is advantageous. Project Management (or PMP) certification and a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Physical ability to walk distances on uneven sites, climb small ladders, and work in an active construction environment. Salary The full‑time role offers a base salary range of $155,000–$170,000 per year. The range reflects base salary only and may vary based on experience and qualifications.
