Web Support Manager

We are seeking a Manager of Web Application Support to oversee the support activities for a large-scale enterprise application environment. This role involves leadership in application support, web infrastructure, release management, project management, and technical issue resolution.ResponsibilitiesLead support operations for external applications and web hosting systems in North America.Supervise technical professionals, including performance management, development planning, and staffing recommendations.Direct activities related to release management, change management, capacity planning, performance optimization, and production support.Support systems utilizing Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, Linux/Solaris, Apache, Jira, SharePoint, AccuRev, and Planview.Collaborate with application development, architecture, infrastructure, and business teams on system design and implementation.Manage multiple technical projects, address service issues, mitigate risks, and safeguard company and client data.Participate in establishing global application support guidelines, policies, processes, and technology recommendations.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.Minimum of eight years of experience in supporting web systems, application infrastructure, or enterprise information services.Technical proficiency with Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, and Apache web environments.Demonstrated leadership in managing application support professionals or other technical teams.Strong background in project management, release management, change management, capacity planning, and resolving production issues.Effective communication skills with technical teams, business executives, clients, and vendors.Availability for off-hours support and occasional travel based on business needs.Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
