Cybersecurity Analyst

Compensation: $50-$60/hour, depending on experience Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join their team! This is a long-term contract opportunity with a stable organization that supports critical infrastructure and keeps a strong pipeline of projects moving forward. In this role, you’ll spend your time hands-on in the environment, monitoring activity, investigating alerts, and strengthening security operations. As the position grows, there’s a clear path toward leadership responsibilities, making this a strong opportunity for someone who wants both immediate impact and room to grow. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Monitor security events and investigate alerts. Chase logs to identify suspicious activity. Review endpoint, firewall, and vulnerability issues. Support day-to-day security operations. Assist with escalating and resolving incidents. Work collaboratively with an established security team. Take on leadership duties as the role develops. Required Qualifications & Experience: Solid experience as a Security Analyst. Hands-on experience chasing logs and alerts. Experience with endpoint security. Experience with firewalls. Experience with vulnerability management. Professional experience working in security operations. Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Experience with CrowdStrike. Experience with Arctic Wolf. Experience with Splunk. Experience with Tenable. Experience with QRadar. Experience with Nessus. Experience with Tripwire.
