Corporate Travel Agent

Summary: The Corporate Travel Agent's role is to deliver first-class travel support to our corporate travelers, including arranging domestic and international air, hotel, car, car service and other transportation requested, as requested. Utilize all resources to ensure and achieve an elevated level of client satisfaction, and develop and build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Arrange both routine and complex domestic and international travel arrangements (i.e., flights, NDC New Distribution Content) air bookings, rail, hotel, cars, car service for individual and or group of corporate clients.

• Research passport & visa requirements for international travelers

• Make recommendations on improving workflow and internal processes

• Maintain and keep files up to date (i.e., office area, files, profiles in Sabre GDS)

• Process refunds & exchanges as needed

• Keep abreast of travel trends and changes within the industry

• Participate in training opportunities to expand and increase skillset

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a corporate travel agent

• EXTRAORDINARY customer service skills and attention to detail

• Experience managing VIP clientele required

• Strong effective understanding & usage of Sabre products including pricing and scripts

• Experience with airline, car and hotel contracts

• Passionate interest in geography, strong domestic and international travel knowledge

• Ability to multitask and quickly interpret complex information.

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and vendors

• Must be a great team player!

Proficiencies:

• Communicate with client via email and/or phone call professionally

• Book simple domestic air/car/hotel as per client request withing policy. To be completed within 10-15min

• Book domestic multi-leg or simple international travel as requested per company policy. To be completed or proposed within 20-30min

• Book multi-leg international trips as requested per company policy. To be completed or proposed in 30-40min

• Ability to book car service via Groundspan

• Ability to add GK segments and AC lines for hotel and rental car bookings outside of Sabre

• Make changes to itineraries as needed

• File, finish, pass QC, and make sure all tickets and fees are issued correctly.

Compensation:
$66,560 per year
