The role involves providing high-quality patient care on a 36-bed medical surgical unit, supporting post-operative patients, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); no minimum experience required; must possess a nursing degree, and hold a Virginia nursing license or be eligible for licensure in Virginia
• Typical responsibilities include caring for post-operative patients, maintaining drains, providing wound care, and managing dressings
• Team-oriented environment requiring a positive attitude and strong patient advocacy skills
• Dress Code: Navy Blue or White scrubs; no hoodies, pull-overs, or T-shirts are permitted
• Patient ratios typically 1:6, with Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and Sequential Compression Devices (SCDs) available on unit
• EMR system utilized: Meditech
