Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Midnight Shift
Location: Allen Park - 9150 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI, 48101
Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide basic patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The CNA will assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating. The CNA will also help patients with mobility and transfers, take vital signs, and document patient information. The CNA will work closely with the nursing staff to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Help patients with mobility and transfers
• Take vital signs and document patient information
• Assist with patient charting and record keeping
• Communicate with nursing staff regarding patient care
• Provide emotional support to patients and families
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean and safe environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Michigan
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Working Conditions:

The CNA will work in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital, nursing home, or assisted living facility. The work may involve standing for long periods of time, lifting and moving patients, and exposure to infectious diseases. The CNA may be required to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
