Salary/Pay Rate: $98,800 - $110,000 per year Location: Port St. Lucie, FL Job/Employment Type: Full Time Project Scope: Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Government, and Federal Site Development Mandatory Licences & Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30 The Opportunity You will serve as a key operational leader overseeing large-scale civil construction and heavy site work projects throughout South Florida. This role allows you to drive project success by directing field crews, optimizing daily production, and utilizing top-tier equipment provided by an industry leader established in 1983. How You Will Make An Impact Direct daily field operations for major earthwork, excavation, utility, stormwater, and paving projects. Supervise company crews and subcontractors to maintain high efficiency and safety standards on the job site. Interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and survey data to guide accurate field execution. Coordinate daily manpower, heavy equipment, and material deliveries to keep projects moving forward smoothly. Conduct mandatory safety meetings and enforce strict OSHA compliance across all operational areas. Track daily production metrics and maintain thorough project documentation to support management decisions. Collaborate with project managers, inspectors, and engineers to resolve field obstacles promptly. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in civil construction, site development, or heavy earthwork. Proven expertise in earthwork, excavation, underground utilities (water/sewer/fire), stormwater drainage, concrete, and asphalt operations. Strong proficiency in reading, analyzing, and executing civil engineering plans, specifications, and survey data. Demonstrated leadership capability managing multi-disciplinary field crews and subcontractors effectively. Valid OSHA 10 or 30 certification required at the time of hire. Hands-on experience using construction management software such as Procore or HCSS Field. Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications & Experience 10 or more years of hands-on civil construction supervisory experience. Familiarity with GPS machine control technology and field layout methods. Background overseeing projects for FDOT, local municipalities, or major commercial site developments.
