Radiology - Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Compact or NC license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Required charting experience with Epic Call required from 16:30 to 17:00 Description:The Cath Lab Tech will perform a variety of tasks in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.The role includes accessing and managing ports, monitoring patients accurately, and performing angioplasty and aortography.Responsibilities also include conducting cardiac ablation, mapping, and stent placements.Candidates will manage equipment, maintain inventory, and ensure that sterile techniques are adhered to.Experience with diagnostic catheterizations, electrophysiology evaluation, and interventional procedures is preferred.The position requires skills in 3D imaging, hemodynamic monitoring, and the use of fluoroscopy.The applicant should be familiar with cardioverter defibrillator insertion and pacemaker placements.Recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures is essential.Teamwork and interdisciplinary support are crucial as this role often collaborates with various healthcare professionals.Travel experience is necessary, and candidates should be prepared for potential floating to different units.Attendance will be monitored, and a supportive reference is required for submissions. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
