Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a PreK Special Education Teacher, working with DD PreK students aged 3 years old. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active South Carolina Special Education License with Early Childhood endorsements required
• Prior experience with early childhood or PreK students, ideally in a special education environment
• Deep understanding of developmental disabilities and best practices in individualized instruction
• Strong skills in developing and implementing IEPs for young children
• Ability to build meaningful relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, patience, and organization

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to PreK students (3-year-olds) with developmental delays
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and growth
• Develop and implement appropriate lesson plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Collaborate with support staff, related service providers, and families for holistic student support
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and tools to foster engagement and progress
• Monitor and assess student development and adjust plans as needed throughout the school year
• Maintain accurate records, including progress reports and compliance documentation

This contract, 37.5-hour-per-week position runs through May 21, 2027, offering continuity and the opportunity to make a lasting impact.
