Youth Mentor for Violence Prevention & Empowerment

FCA Family & Children’s Association in the Town of Hempstead is seeking a Youth Mentor to join the Empowerment Through Wellness initiative. The mentor will provide vital support to youth charged with gun-related offenses, assisting them in developing socialization and decision-making skills. Responsibilities include conducting mentoring sessions, identifying high-risk behaviors, and collaborating with case managers. Candidates should have a High School Diploma/GED, lived experience, and at least 2 years of experience with at-risk populations.
