Certified Medical Assistant 60 hours per pay – Hours will vary Full Benefits Scheurer Specialty Clinic – Harbor Beach, a part of Scheurer Health, is seeking a part time Certified Medical Assistant. Job Responsibilities: Greet and register each patient, verify insurance coverage, and collect co-pays Assist healthcare providers with patient care and treatment Obtain and record patient vital signs and medical history Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures Assist with patient education and follow-up care Maintain medical equipment and supplies Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy Perform other duties as assigned The candidates will assist with in-store promotions, marketing and various community wellness activities Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a medical assistant program Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures Experience with electronic medical records Ability to maintain patient confidentiality Benefits: Competitive pay Paid Time Off (PTO) Health, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance 401k with matching funds Safe Work Environment For questions regarding this position, please contact Misty Johnston Clinic Manager, or Yvonne Prill, Talent Acquisition Specialist.
