Security Officer Part Time TWIC Patrol
As a Security Officer Part Time TWIC Patrol in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when applicable, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED, as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
