Position Summary The Behavioral Health Professional will work with all disciplines on the Behavioral Health Unit to attain effectiveness in serving the patient population. Essential Functions Perform risk assessment of inmates; coordinate care with interdisciplinary team including medical staff, community providers, psychiatric hospitals and corrections; and plan discharge. Assist inmates in planning and implementing treatment goals for the duration of their stay. Assist in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projects. Prepare necessary documentation, records, and reports. Maintain excellent and timely documentation skills. Make independent clinical decisions while utilizing assistance and supervisory intervention, as needed. Make a positive impact on vulnerable populations in crisis. Minimum Requirements Licensed Master’s Level Behavioral Health Clinician who can administer assessments, make clinical decisions, provide mental health treatment, and hold a LLCP, LCP, or equivalent license. Schedule Full-Time Monday - Friday 8 hour shifts Required Education, Certifications, Registrations and Experience Graduation from a Master’s level program. Minimum of one year employment in a social work capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent. Must receive a satisfactory background investigation report.
