Travel ICU Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with floating required.

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide total patient care for ICU patients, including managing ventilators, titratable drips, and providing hygiene care. The position may require floating to the Emergency Room and Med-Surg departments as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide total care for ICU patients, including management of ventilators and medication administration.
• Float to ER and Med-Surg departments as needed, assisting with patient care and other nursing duties.
• Respond to call lights, pass medications, transport patients, start IVs, and perform blood draws when floater to ER.
• Take a full assignment in Med-Surg or act as an aide.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in ER and Med-Surg preferred.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• Experience with ventilators, titratable drips, mixing medications, and patient hygiene preferred.

Floating Details:

Nurses will be expected to float to different departments. When floating to ER, nurses help with patient management tasks. Floating to Med-Surg may involve taking a full patient assignment or assisting as an aide.
