We are seeking to hire a Physical Therapist - Part-Time

Physical Therapist Qualifications:  

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited College or University.
• IA License and current registration as a Therapist (Should be a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.)
• One year of clinical experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Physical Therapist Job Summary:

• Perform evaluations, design treatment plans and administer physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Supervise professional and non-professional physical therapy staff.
• Assign case load and other related tasks to physical therapy staff.
• Coordinate physical therapy program with other services for assigned residents.
• Complete required documentation for residents’ medical records.
• Record daily attendance for statistical record keeping.
• Schedule daily treatments.
• Participate in In-Service Education program.
• Provide recommendations to Restorative Nursing Staff.
