Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk Department: Distribution Group Location: Carrollton TX 75006 FLSA: Non-Exempt Employment Details Job Category: Inventory Control Industry: Warehouse Employee Type: Non-Exempt Required Degree: High school Manage Others: No Job Summary The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for tracking, maintaining, and organizing inventory records to ensure accurate stock levels. This role supports daily operations by monitoring inventory movement and reporting discrepancies. Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation Receive, count, and record incoming and outgoing inventory Conduct regular inventory counts and audits Identify, investigate, and report inventory discrepancies or shortages Update inventory data in systems or spreadsheets Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, or operations staff Prepare inventory reports and documentation as required Ensure proper storage and labeling of inventory items Work closely with warehouse, purchasing and operations staff Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times Other duties as assigned Requirements Basic computer skills/knowledge of Inventory Software a plus Attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time management skills Basic math and counting skills Effective communication and teamwork High school diploma or equivalent Previous inventory, warehouse, or clerical experience preferred Ability to lift and move inventory items as needed Familiarity with inventory systems or spreadsheets is a plus Compensation Compensation based on experience.
