Quoting Associate III

Owens & Minor is seeking a Quoting Specialist to prepare accurate, timely, and competitive customer quotes by building bills of materials and supporting pricing execution for assigned sales territories. The anticipated pay range for this position is $22–$30 per hour. Key Responsibilities Quote Preparation & Execution: Create, revise, and distribute customer quotes and project estimates; build and review bills of materials; ensure accurate pricing and product configurations in Salesforce. Sales & Customer Support: Serve as the primary quoting contact for field sales representatives; collaborate daily via phone, email, and Salesforce; manage contact records and maintain strong working relationships. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Quality, Purchasing, and Manufacturing to obtain accurate product, cost, and pricing information; validate pricing accuracy; escalates complex quoting scenarios. Systems, Data & Quality: Maintain all quotes and supporting documentation within Salesforce; ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with established standards. Continuous Improvement & Team Support: Follow best practices, identify inefficiencies, raise improvement opportunities, support onboarding and training of new team members; adhere to company policies and core values. Required Qualifications Degree in Business, Technical Program, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience. Relevant experience in quoting, estimating, pricing, sales support, or a related role. Proficiency in a CRM system, preferably Salesforce. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent organizational, time‑management, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple quotes and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, healthcare products, or regulated environments. Familiarity with bills of materials and product configuration concepts. Experience supporting field sales organizations. Quoting Specialist Expectations Execute quoting tasks independently within established guidelines. Own accuracy and completeness of assigned quotes. Escalate exceptions and complex scenarios appropriately. Partner effectively with Sales and cross‑functional teams. Build technical knowledge in preparation for future Team Lead responsibilities.
