Pro Shop ClerkAchasta Golf Club, located in Dahlonega, GA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Pro Shop Clerk. We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Pay: $10.00 per hourA pro shop clerk manages daily golf course operations, handles customer transactions, and books tee times. Key duties include operating the register, greeting guests, and maintaining shop cleanliness. Core Responsibilities:Customer Service: Greets members, answers phone calls, and explains course rules or lesson details.Tee Times & Bookings: Schedules and manages player reservations using point-of-sale (POS) systems.Retail & Sales: Processes green fees, collects payments, and sells golf apparel or equipment.Administrative Tasks: Reconciles daily cash drawers, tracks inventory, and assists with tournament coordinationGeneral Description of Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible to continually monitor, implement and adhere to all company goals, policies, procedures and controls.Assist golf professionals with the checking in golfers and maintain a properly functioning tee sheet and pace of play.Assist with receiving merchandise and adhere to purchase order procedures.Assist with the rotation of shop displays.Maintain an organized stock room and assist the buyer and other shop assistants with stock and golf shop cleanliness.Assist with pricing of merchandise.Assist with maintaining proper inventory counts and levels.Perform other duties as requested by the Head Professional.Provide service in any and every way.
