Surgical Technologist - Scrub Tech

Pay From: $38 per hour


MUST:
The Surgical Technologist, Surgery Tech or Scrub Tech must have experience with the following:
1+ years of experience as a surgery technologist
Scrub tech experience from a surgery center or hospital
Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Knowledge of sterile techniques
Experience monitoring and overseeing equipment
Ability to sterilize equipment
Experienced utilizing a C-Arm
Interventional Radiology,, or cardiac surgery experience a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office
CPR certification is required


DUTIES:
Review procedure orders to determine materials and supplies needed
Explain procedure to patients
Prepare patients for procedures
Set up procedure room with necessary equipment
Draw up Intravenous medication
Enter patient data into C-Arm
Assist with processing X-ray images
Sterilize equipment
Attend meetings with physicians
Enter CPT and ICD-9 codes for billing and ensure accuracy
Maintain and order supplies
