Detail-oriented and compliance-minded, the full-time remote Total Rewards Specialist will manage benefits administration, oversee leave of absence programs, and support payroll auditing while ensuring data integrity and employee care. Key responsibilities Administer daily group benefits programs and manage multi-state leave of absence compliance Conduct monthly invoice reconciliation and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations Collaborate with the payroll team to audit payroll cycles and contribute to special HR projects Required qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience in HR with a focus on benefits administration and leave management Proven expertise in managing benefits and leaves across multiple states Prior experience with payroll processing or auditing is preferred Hands-on experience with HRIS/Benefits administration systems Ability to communicate complex benefit information in an employee-friendly manner
