Job Details Purpose Laboratory technician studying viruses and bacteria, the host response to infection, novel gene therapy approaches with relevance to new vaccine development Responsibilities Conduct wet bench experiments to understand the role of RNA in host-pathogen interactions, the antiviral response, and novel gene therapy approaches Help manage lab including e.g., ordering, organization, cleaning, scheduling Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in scientific, engineering, or a technical field. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications Experience in molecular biology, animal models, processing large data, cell culture, vaccinology, virus infection.
