Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER) - 12-Hour Nights

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, with weekend requirements scheduled every other weekend. Holiday work may be required.

Job Description

The Emergency Room (ER) unit consists of 8 beds, with a patient-to-nurse ratio potentially ranging from 1:4 to generally 1:2. The average daily census is 29 patients. The unit includes support from a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) provider every day from 10 AM to 8 PM. Responsibilities include providing emergency care to patients and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
