RESPONSIBILITIES: Making a memorable first and last impression. Greeting incoming and departing guests in a welcoming manner. Seating guests in the dining and bar areas, ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff. Coordinating the wait and seating guests with a sense of urgency. Always smiling and engaging in genuine conversations with guests. Having a general knowledge of the food and drink menu, and being able to recommend and upsell products. Answering the phone promptly and professionally, directing calls as needed. Being a team player by assisting throughout the restaurant—bussing tables, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring every opportunity to WOW a customer is fulfilled. Teamwork is essential. Leading the lobby experience for each guest, following Outback hospitality standards. Committing to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift. REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.; able to work in hot and cold environments. Ability to walk, stand, or bend for long periods while performing essential job duties. For California-based positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certification required (can be completed during training or within 60 days of start date).
