Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Observation Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Other Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment. License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact. Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent. Must-Have: EPIC experience required. Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice is essential for this role. The candidate must possess clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to their area of employment. An Associate's degree in nursing is required, while a Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred. This position incorporates essential functions adapted from the Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
