As a Security Officer Credential Desk in Theodore, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, manage access control and badge activity, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and team members by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Monitor gates, doors, badges, vehicle activity, and delivery traffic to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized entry into shipping, receiving, and other restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Document security-related activities, visitor logs, incident details, and/or irregularities in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
