Warehouse - Lead

The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Warehouse - Lead to work at a company located in the Barnesville, PA area!Job Title: Warehouse - LeadJob Location: Barnesville, PAJob Location (City, State and Zip code): Barnesville, PA 18214Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits:Pay Rate: $21.50 p/hrShift: Mid-shift, 10:30 AM–7:00 PMDuties/Responsibilities:• Leading a department of 10+ warehouse workers• Assign, monitor, and evaluate workflow of the department• Train employees on procedures in accordance with company policies and procedures• Maintain and complete documentation as needed.• Hands-on involvement in all aspects of distribution• Monitor and oversee the shipping/receiving of inbound and outbound shipments• Maintain, review and complete paperwork required for the shipping/receiving process• Use of a computer system to input, retrieve and evaluate information.• Performs other duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly• Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word• Ability to work successfully with a diverse population; internally and externally, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion or position• Ability to act calmly under stress and strain, and not be hasty• Must be dependable and trustworthy, ethical, honest and have integrity• Must be organized, having the ability to follow a systematic method of performing a task• Exercise a high level of independent judgement, organizational ability and InitiativeBasic Qualifications:• 1-3 years of experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of basic warehouse equipment such as pickers, forklifts and reach trucks• Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience in heavy volume distribution.• 1+ year of experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)• Must have open availability and flexibility with working hours and schedule• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plusPhysical Requirements:• Prolonged periods of standing/walking warehouse floor to observe/manage business activity.• Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds at times.The JobSquad Solutions Team is made up of experts around the country.
