About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting required. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: BLS required. ACLS strongly preferred. Must-Have: - Experience with drips and cardiac telemetry management. - EPIC charting experience required. - Ability to float to various units as needed. Description: This position offers both 36-hour or 48-hour work options and 13-week or 26-week contract options. Travelers will be assigned to units based on their experience and may be required to float frequently to meet staffing needs. RNs must be prepared for potential assignments to nearby facilities. Travelers may float within their scope to ensure facility needs are met. Staffing may include CNAs and care techs, along with LPNs on some floors. Weekend shifts include working 4 out of 8 weekends in a 4-week period. Night shifts may also be required. Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays during the winter holiday season. Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility. Pending licenses will be accepted, but confirmation is required prior to submission. All travelers must be nicotine-free. RTO requests are allowed but must be submitted with the application. Additional requests for time off will be considered at the manager's discretion.
