Heavy AssemblerA manufacturer in Anderson, IN is seeking two Heavy Assemblers for the 1st shift in the Housing department.ResponsibilitiesRead blueprints to assemble industrial filters.Utilize hand and power tools to assemble mechanical and electrical components.Form or bend metal tubing as required.Perform functional testing of manufactured products.Pack final products for shipment.Essential SkillsProficiency in assembly, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.Blueprint reading skills.Experience with hand tools and power tools.Ability to perform electrical wiring and mechanic tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with bending machines and as a machine operator.Strong mechanical aptitude.Why Work Here?Enjoy a clean and air-conditioned plant environment, with opportunities for growth within the company. Each shift includes a 30-min unpaid lunch and two or three 15-min paid breaks. The facility is clean, air-conditioned, and quiet, with team-oriented work in groups of 4 or 5. Dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and closed-toed shoes, with PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and a high visibility vest provided.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anderson, IN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
