Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support the reliability and performance of high‑speed production equipment in a continuous manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for daily mechanical monitoring, preventative maintenance execution, troubleshooting, and corrective repairs to ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards. You will also play a key role in developing operator capability through coaching and training, helping to build broader mechanical understanding across the site. What We Offer Competitive pay range: $33.00 – $35.74 per hour (depending on experience, qualifications, and certifications) Medical, dental, and vision insurance (effective first of the month following start date) 401(k) plan with 100% employer match up to 5% (effective first of the month following start date) Health and wellness reimbursement programs Employee and family assistance programs Product purchase program Paid training, development, and upskilling opportunities Career growth and progression opportunities within a larger industrial group of companies Relocation assistance Key Responsibilities Perform daily mechanical monitoring of production equipment to ensure optimal performance Execute preventive maintenance tasks and support the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program and associated systems Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment failures to restore full operating condition Conduct corrective maintenance activities and ensure timely return of equipment to production standards Support continuous improvement of equipment reliability and maintenance practices Train and coach operators to improve mechanical understanding and equipment care across the site Collaborate with Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), Operations, and other departments to resolve equipment issues Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely, with strong adherence to safety procedures and standards Support quality assurance through basic inspections, audits, and corrective follow‑up actions Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance work and equipment status Qualifications Associate’s degree or certification in a maintenance‑related field Minimum 1 year of relevant industrial maintenance experience Strong mechanical aptitude; Journeyman-level mechanical skills preferred Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Ability to read and interpret measurement tools (e.g., tape measures) Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards Strong teamwork and communication skills Demonstrated safety awareness and commitment to safe working practices Quality‑focused with ability to perform inspections and follow up on findings Willingness to participate in training, workshops, and ongoing development Ability to collaborate across departments to resolve technical issues Ability and willingness to train and support others when required #J-18808-Ljbffr
